The ABB CI855-1 3BSE018134R1 is an S100 I/O communication interface module for ABB AC800M controller and 800xA DCS system. It builds communication connection between AC800M controller and S100 I/O stations. It supports ModuleBus data transmission with built-in hardware diagnosis. This module supports hot swap, widely applied in power, chemical, pulp & paper and oil & gas industrial process control.

Content Details

CI855-1 includes communication unit and supporting baseplate, mounted on AC800M controller rack. It transmits real-time process data and diagnostic information between controller and S100 I/O modules through ModuleBus. Galvanic isolation protects main controller against field surge and electromagnetic interference. LED indicators show module running status and communication faults to realize fast on-site troubleshooting. Configuration is completed via Control Builder M software. Industrial PCB design maintains reliable operation under vibration and strong EMI environment. It serves as spare replacement part for 800xA DCS maintenance and system upgrade. Every unit passes full function test and thermal aging test before delivery.
