Foxboro 760-INA-A is a panel-mounted single-station micro controller from Foxboro 760 series. It executes independent PID closed-loop control for temperature, pressure, flow and level parameters for continuous industrial process control.

Foxboro 760-INA-A is a microprocessor-based single station Micro controller under Foxboro 760 series, designed for standalone loop regulation in process industries. This panel-installed controller accepts standard 4-20mA analog signals coming from field transmitters, and runs built-in PID control algorithm to generate analog output signals to drive control valves and actuators, stabilizing critical process variables including temperature, pressure, liquid level and flow rate. It supports flexible PID parameter tuning on site, enabling engineers to adjust proportional band, integral and derivative settings to match different process response characteristics. The front panel integrates digital display and function keys, allowing operators to read real-time process values, modify setpoints and acknowledge alarms locally without connecting to upper monitoring host.

 Configurable high/low limit alarms will activate once process variables exceed predefined thresholds, alerting plant personnel promptly to abnormal operating conditions and preventing process upset. Built with rugged industrial hardware and carefully screened electronic components, the controller adopts internal EMI suppression circuits to resist electrical noise and interference inside control rooms. It can maintain stable 24/7 continuous operation under moderate temperature variation and mechanical vibration, meeting long-term reliability requirements of chemical and power plants. The rear terminal block provides organized wiring terminals for analog input, analog output, power supply and digital alarm contacts. 

It fits standard panel cutout, supporting simple installation and direct swap replacement during maintenance work. Every Foxboro 760-INA-A unit is fully tested before shipment, covering function verification, PID calibration and burn-in aging inspection. Although this legacy model has been discontinued by Foxboro, it remains an essential spare part for existing process control systems.
