The ABB 086318-002 is a PWA memory daughter board for ABB 500 series controller platforms. It expands storage capacity for the main CPU board, stores control programs, configuration parameters and runtime data. Equipped with an onboard backup battery to preserve data during power loss. Widely used in ABB Advant OCS and MOD 300 DCS control systems.

086318-002 plugs directly onto the main controller board via dedicated connector. Onboard non-volatile memory and backup battery maintain program and parameter data when power is cut off. Multi-layer PCB design enhances signal integrity and anti-interference performance. It supports continuous operation in industrial control cabinets, resisting vibration and electromagnetic interference. This part is obsolete from manufacturer, commonly used as spare part for legacy DCS system maintenance and retrofit. Every board passes full function test and thermal aging test before shipment.
